That on or about March 14, 2021 an associate of the defendant submitted a fraudulent PPP loan application to Cross River Bank for Yazee, Inc., a business of which he was President that had no employees and no real operations, and that he was then working at a pizza shop in Baltimore and as a delivery driver.

Cross River Bank approved the application and disbursed $250,723 to a Wells Fargo account in the name of Yazee, Inc. controlled by the defendant, according to the government's memorandum, which states he then gave his associate kickbacks totalling $75,000 in eight checks with blank payee fields from the same account.
