Corrections
When the record proves a page wrong, the page is fixed.
How to report an error
A report needs three things: the page URL, the passage you believe is wrong, and the document that shows it is wrong. Say which kind of error it is: a fact in a guide or a data table, a document's metadata (title, date, court, docket number), a mistake in extracted text, a summary, or a missing or wrong original file. Errors of fact in published prose and in data tables are fixed on the page.
What gets fixed how
A wrong title, date, court, or docket number is corrected against the document, its docket entry, or its first-page heading, and the override is recorded. Garbled extracted text is re-processed from the original. A derived table that disagrees with its source file is rebuilt from the file; the data pages state the source vintage each table was built from, because the numbers depend on it. A guide that misstates a record is corrected.
