We kindly request an extension of the self-surrender date due to medical reasons and an inability to fulfill the surrender procedures before the original deadline. We assure the court that Ms. Hopkins takes this matter very seriously and fully intends to cooperate with all legal proceedings. However, her current health condition necessitates a delay to ensure her well-being and the successful completion of the required medical intervention. It is our belief that granting this extension will serve the interests of justice and fairness, while also ensuring Ms. Hopkins' health and safety. She relies on me for her daily care, and I take this role seriously. I ensure that she receives the medical attention she needs and that her medications are taken correctly. Additionally, I manage her SSI payments, making sure they are utilized for her well-being and necessities. Being her caregiver is a responsibility that I willingly take on, and I am committed to providing her with the best care possible. I make necessary decisions concerning her care, such as choosing healthcare providers, coordinating treatments, and deciding on any necessary lifestyle adjustments. I am constantly monitoring her well-being and consulting with medical professionals to ensure she receives the best possible care. I prioritize her comfort, safety, and overall quality of life in every decision I make. Being her caregiver has taught me the importance of being attentive, informed, and compassionate in all aspects of her care.
