My name is Lyles Donnell Knox, husband of the defendant, Amanda Christian, 
employed as a Registered Representative, and currently reside at 118 Pine Loop 
Dr, Blythewood, SC 29016. 
STATEMENT OF TRUTH: 
I swear that the following information is true and correct to the best of my 
knowledge.

Amanda Christian expressed to me that her lawyer, Gabe Banks, informed her that 
she would need to enter a guilty plea before the prosecutors would be willing to 
speak with her. Amanda and I held several discussions on whether or not this was 
the right course of action, as she has little to no knowledge of what was in the 
discovery, meaning she had little to no knowledge of what she was pleading guilty 
to. Amanda Christian ultimately decided to trust her attorney, Gabe Banks to help 
her navigate through the proceedings in the best way possible. 
On the night of March 22, 2022, Gabe Banks called Amanda a few times with 
questions about the case. Amanda had never expressed to me that her lawyer had 
any extensive conversations about the actual specifics of the case before this night. 
The conversations up to that point were brief with the guilty plea or payments 
being the only topics discussed. I didn't attend the plea hearing, as her lawyer, 
Gabe Banks, expressed that it was not necessary for me to come. 
I was never made aware of any further communication between Amanda Christian 
and Gabe Banks until the night of September 12, 2023, when, again, he called to 
ask about certain elements of the case, when Amanda's sentencing was the next 
day, September 13, 2023. 
During the hearing, there was a discrepancy in the restitution amount. This 
discrepancy, along with other elements of that case that may have provided support 
for Amanda, went unchallenged by Gabe Banks. The discrepancy concerning the

restitution was brought up by another party that was present in the courtroom. 
There were also objections that were agreed upon between Amanda Christian and 
Gabe Banks that were removed without Amanda's knowledge. I cannot recall the 
nature of these objections. 
It is my position that Amanda Christian never had access to the discovery at any 
point before her sentencing. 
I swear that the aforementioned statements are true and correct to the best of my 
knowledge.
