Now comes the Defendant, Adam Winston James, by and through undersigned counsel, 
and hereby respectfully moves this Honorable Court to issue an order granting a thirty day 
continuance of the sentencing hearing presently scheduled on January 10, 2022. 
Travel is restricted due to a Covid surge in the Northeast region of the country. Due to 
defense counsel’s exposure to the virus on Tuesday January 4th, I am uncertain if I will have 
clearance and be able to attend the proceeding. 
Wherefore, Defendant requests that this Honorable Court issue an Order granting a thirty 
 
(30) day continuance of the sentencing hearing in the above captioned case.
