Now comes the Defendant, Adam Winston James, by and through undersigned counsel, 
and hereby respectfully moves this Honorable Court to issue an order granting a sixty day 
continuance of the sentencing hearing presently scheduled for September 30, 2021. 
Defense counsel Donte Mills has received the consent of the government. 
Due to counsel’s litigation schedule they are unable to devote the necessary time to 
adequately prepare for the sentencing hearing in this matter and therefore request that the matter 
be continued to a later date not less than sixty days from the current sentencing date. 
Wherefore, Defendant requests that this Honorable Court issue an Order granting a sixty 
 
(60) day continuance of the sentencing hearing in the above captioned case.
