1 IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF WEST VIRGINIA CHARLESTON DIVISION UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. CASE NO: 2:24-cr-00081 JESSICA NUTTER MOTION TO CONTINUE PLEA HEARING (UNOPPOSED) Counsel for the Defendant respectfully moves this Court to continue the plea hearing, scheduled for today, July 9, 2024. This case’s posture includes a plea agreement and an Information. Due to an administrative miscommunication, Counsel for the Defendant was unaware that the Information had been filed or that the hearing had been scheduled. Although the plea agreement was signed by Counsel, Counsel was not added as counsel. Due to the recent federal holidays, Counsel did not find the timing unusual. Most importantly, the Defendant is currently in Florida with her family. Counsel for the Defendant apologizes to the Court.
