CASE: 9:24-cr-80103-AMC-1

Plaintiff,

V.

DUSTIN SEAN MCCABE

Defendant.

____________________________/

DEFENDANT DUSTIN SEAN MCCABE’S
UNOPPOSED MOTION TO CONTINUE SENENCING

Defendant, Dustin Sean McCabe, by and through undersigned counsel, respectfully moves
this Court for a sixty (60) day continuance of the sentencing hearing currently scheduled for June
12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. before the Honorable Judge Aileen M. Cannon in the Fort Pierce Division.
In support of this motion, the Defendant states as follows:
1. On March 4, 2025, Mr. McCabe was convicted on five criminal counts in the United States
District Court for the Southern District of Florida. See ECF No. 86.
2. The Court subsequently scheduled Mr. McCabe’s sentencing hearing for June 12, 2025.
3. Due to the nature of counsels’ ongoing case preparation and Mr. McCabe’s personal
circumstances, additional time is necessary to adequately prepare for sentencing.
4. A sixty (60) day continuance will allow counsel sufficient time to address outstanding
issues and be fully prepared for the sentencing hearing.
5. The undersigned has conferred with Assistant United States Attorney Zachary A. Keller,
who does not object to the requested continuance.
