RESPOND TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO DISMISS 
 
 
The defendant, Casey David Crowther, has filed a motion to dismiss the 
superseding indictment in this case, and the United States’ response is presently 
due on November 27, 2020. Doc. 41. On November 19, 2020, counsel for the 
United States tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently experiencing 
symptoms of the virus. Due to the constraints posed by the virus, the 
undersigned is requesting a one week extension of time within which to file a 
response to defendant’s motion, through December 4, 2020.  The undersigned 
has communicated with counsel for the defendant, Nicole H. Waid, and 
counsel does not object to the requested extension.

WHEREFORE, the United States of America, moves for an extension
