MOTION FOR CONTINUANCE OF SENTENCING HEARING 
 
NOW COMES the United States of America, by and through Jill E. Steinberg, 
United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, and the undersigned 
Assistant United States Attorney, to move for a continuance of the sentencing hearing 
in this case, as follows: 
1. 
On August 3, 2023, this Court set this case for the sentencing hearing 
for September 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Brunswick, Georgia. 
2. 
Office of Inspector General, Small Business Administration Special 
Agent Justin Lott and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Douglas Dye, 
the two case agents for this case, both have preexisting scheduling conflicts for 
September 14, 2023. The Government anticipates that one or both agents may be 
called as witnesses at the sentencing hearing. 
3. 
Counsel for the Defendant does not object to the Government’s request 
for the sentencing hearing to be rescheduled.   
For the above reasons, the Government respectfully requests that this Court

grant a continuance of this hearing and reschedule it for such time as is convenient 
for the Court.
