MOTION TO PROCEED WITH INITIAL APPEARANCE/ARRAIGNMENT 
VIA VIDEO CONFERENCING 
 
NOW COMES the Defendant, Pierre Rogers, by and through counsel, Jaye L. Rancourt 
and Brennan, Lenehan, Iacopino & Hickey and requests this Honorable Court authorize that the 
Defendant’s initial appearance and arraignment scheduled for July 11, 2022 be held via video 
conferencing rather than in person. 
IN SUPPORT OF THIS MOTION it is stated as follows: 
1. 
Mr. Rogers is scheduled to appear in this Court on July 11, 2022 for an initial 
appearance and arraignment.   
2. 
Mr. Rogers resides in California.  He has been released on an unsecured bond with 
conditions out of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.  Mr. Rogers has 
retained private counsel to represent him in this matter.  That attorney is located in Irvine, 
California.   
3. 
Mr. Rogers will be unable to travel to New Hampshire in order to be present for his 
initial appearance and arraignment in person. 
4. 
Mr. Rogers has executed a waiver of arraignment form and an assent to proceed via 
video.

5. 
It is not anticipated that there will be any litigation or disagreement on conditions 
of release for Mr. Rogers.  Upon information and belief, the United States Attorney’s Office will 
be seeking that Mr. Rogers be released on conditions.

The United States Attorney’s office by and through Alexander Chen, assents to the 
relief requested herein. 
7. 
No Memorandum of Law is included as this Motion is procedural in nature. 
WHEREFORE the Defendant, Mr. Pierre requests this Honorable Court: 
A. 
Grant this request to proceed with his initial appearance and arraignment  via video 
conferencing rather than in person as the Court deems necessary; and,  
B. 
Grant such other relief as justice and equity may require.
