interests,” and routinely permit “redacting documents to protect the privacy interests of innocent
third parties.” United States v. Business of Custer Battlefield Museum & Store, 658 F.3d 1188,
1195 n.5 (9th Cir. 2011) (collecting cases). The parties seek highly targeted redactions of the name
and email address of an individual non-party loan applicant and the personal email address of the
Arbitrator. This information is not relevant to the merits of this action and its disclosure risks
violating the privacy of non-parties to this action. See, e.g., Splunk Inc. v, Cribl, Inc., 2024 WL
3912261, at *5 (N.D. Cal. Aug. 19, 2024) (holding that redaction of “personally identifying
information unrelated to the merits is warranted for privacy”); Am. Auto. Ass'n of N. Cal., Nev., &
Utah v. General Motors LLC, 2019 WL 1206748, at *2 (N.D. Cal. Mar. 14, 2019) (permitting
redaction of personally identifiable information, “including names, addresses, phone numbers, and
email addresses”).
WHEREFORE, the Parties respectfully submit this Administrative Motion pursuant to Civil
Local Rule 79-5. Redacted versions of the documents listed above accompany this Administrative
Motion.

Respectfully submitted,
