ORDER 
Defendant Maurice Fayne has filed a second motion for continuance of 
pretrial conference [Doc. 56].1  The Court, again, DENIES Mr. Fayne’s motion for 
continuance and DIRECTS Mr. Fayne and the government to be present for a 
Status Conference on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., before the 
undersigned Magistrate Judge in Courtroom 1834, 18th Floor, United States 
Courthouse, 75 Ted Turner Drive, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia.  While the Court does 
not expect Mr. Fayne to have filed all pretrial motions in advance of the conference, 
in light of his status as a pro se defendant, the Court believes that a status conference

is necessary to discuss, among other things, the status of discovery, whether to 
appoint standby counsel, and the issue of Defendant’s recent change to his mailing 
address to a location in Oklahoma outside this district.   
The Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to mail a copy of this order, via certified 
mail, to Defendant Maurice Fayne to the address in CM/ECF and to the address 
that Pretrial Services has on file which is: 4029 Mountain Side Trail Northeast, 
Dacula, Georgia 30019.
