What it is
One row per RRF award. The Restaurant Revitalization Fund paid $28.6 billion in grants in mid-2021 to restaurants, bars, and similar businesses, first-come-first-served, until the money ran out. The file carries the business name and address, approval date, grant amount, franchise name, rural and HUBZone indicators, congressional district, the grant-purpose boxes the applicant checked (payroll, rent, food, supplies, operations, debt, outdoor seating, and so on), legal organization type, the low-income, veteran, and women-owned indicators, and the restaurant type.

The copy preserved here was acquired on 2026-06-12 as an archived project copy of the SBA's FOIA file. The SBA hosts the current file and a data dictionary on its open-data portal; the current file may differ from this copy if closeout or recovery actions changed rows after it was taken, so check the checksum before treating the two as the same.
