WAIVER OF PERSONAL APPEARANCE FOR SCHEDULING CONFERENCE 
Denise Sanders, through undersigned counsel, Paul Hood, waives her tight to appear 
persona11y for the June 12, 2024 scheduling conference and respectfully requests that she be 
peml.itted to appear through \lndersigned counsel. Ms. Sanders is on pretrial release, js 
employed, and is in good contact with undersigned counsel. 
On June 6, 2024, co-defendant Daisha Sanders, through her counsel, Katrina Y. 
Roberrson, filed a iuotioll to co1ttinue tl1e current trial date to January or February of 2025. Doc. 
115. The Governrneot does not oppose that motion. Undersigned counsel discussed that motion
with Denise Sanders, jncluding explaining the impact that it would have on her speedy triaJ 
rights. Ms. Sande.rs did not object and joined the continuance request, as did all co-defendants in 
thh; matter who are presently set for hial. 
Undersigned counsel has advised Ms. Sanders of her right to appear personally at the 
upcoming scheduling conference and that important scheduling decisions will be made during 
th.at conference. Undersigned counsel has also advised Ms. Sanders of her speedy trial rights, 
including her rights under 18 U.S.C. § 316l(c)(l), and of the impact of ex.cludable delay under

18 U.S.C. § 3161 (h)(7). Ms. Sanders is aware that scheduling decisions made at the status 
conference will impact her speedy trial rights. 
Ms. Sanders supports resetting the trial date to January or February of 2025 or to a later 
date that would be suitable to the Court and the parties . .tv!s. Sanders also suppo1ts a finding of 
excludable delay pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3161 (h)(7) and states that her right to effective 
assistance of counsel and her need to prepare a defense justify the delay sought by the 
continuance request. 
Undersigned counsel agrees with thjs Waiver and believes that Ms. Sanders has made an 
informed and voluntary decision.
