ORDER 
 
At Charleston, on September 15, 2022, came the Defendant who appeared in custody for 
the purpose of an Initial Appearance pursuant to his arrest on a warrant issued on a Petition for 
Action on Conditions of Pretrial Release (ECF Document 39). Katie Robeson, Assistant United 
States Attorney, appeared on behalf of the United States; Rhett Johnson, Assistant Federal Public 
Defender, appeared on behalf of the Defendant; and Codie Blankenship, United States Probation 
Officer Assistant, was also present. 
 
The Defendant was not called upon to plead. The Court informed the Defendant of the 
charges in the case, of his right to counsel, and of matters relating to conditions of release. The 
Court further informed the Defendant that he was not required to make a statement and that any 
statement made by the Defendant may be used against him. 
Counsel for the Defendant objected to the violations contained in said Petition (ECF 
Document 39). After hearing arguments and proffer of counsel, the Court will hold this matter in 
abeyance and allow the Defendant to remain on bond as ORDERED in Defendant’s Appearance 
Bond (ECF Document 14) and the Order Setting Conditions of Release (ECF Document 15)

with the additional conditions that the Defendant is to be randomly drug tested twice per week and 
is ORDERED to attend counseling for his drug use.  
 
The Court DIRECTS the Clerk to provide a copy of this Order to the Defendant and 
counsel; to the Assistant United States Attorney; to the United States Probation Office; and to the 
Office of the United States Marshal.
