EXHIBIT A Case 2:23-cr-00112 Document 53-1 Filed 03/25/26 Page 1 of 2 PageID #: 172 Dear Honorable Judge, I am writing on behalf of myself with humility and sincere gratitude. First, I want to thank you for the opportunity to reflect on my actions and grow through this journey. Over the past two years, I have experienced some of the most challenging moments of my life. There were many days filled with tears, depression, and anxiety. At times, it felt overwhelming, but through it all, I found strength in my faith and a deeper relationship with God. This journey has truly transformed me. I have learned a great deal about myself—my weaknesses, my mistakes, and most importantly, my purpose. I have made sacrifices and let go of things that no longer serve me so that I could become a better person. Today, I stand stronger, wiser, and more self-aware than I have ever been. I am a mother of three boys, and they are my greatest motivation. I regret deeply how my past decisions have affected them. I take full responsibility for my actions, and I have made it a priority to speak openly with them, to apologize, and to teach them to make better choices than I did. I want nothing more than for them to have a better life and a brighter future. I pray for them daily and strive to lead by example. These past two years have also helped me discover my passions and direction in life. I am now working toward living my dreams and building a stable, positive future for myself and my children. I truly believe I am ready for a second chance and committed to making the most of it. Thank you for taking the time to consider my letter. I am grateful for the opportunity to move forward and continue growing into the person I am meant to be.
