UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA CASE NO. 23-80154-CR-MIDDLEBROOKS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, vs. GREGORY SCOTT KEOUGH, Defendant. I ------------ ORDER ON DEFENDANT'S MOTION FOR RECOMMENDATION REGARDING RESIDENTIAL RE-ENTRY CENTER THIS CAUSE comes before the Court upon the Defendant's Motion for A Judicial Recommendation for Maximum Halfway House Placement (D.E. 66). Defendant is requesting that the Court recommend 12-months RRC placement in a halfway house. The Bureau of Prisons term of RRC placement is determined by a Unit Manager during a group meeting wherein Defendant's compliance with rules and regulations and overall adjustments are discussed. RRC placement can range from three months to one year prior to a defendant's release date. The Court will recommend that the Bureau of Prisons review the Defendant's compliance and if eligible, that the Defendant be placed at a second chance act halfway house for a time to be determined by the Bureau of Prisons. However, any decision as to a halfway house is within the Bureau of Prison's discretion. cc: Counsel of Record Gregory Scott Keough Defendant ALD M.
