ORDER DENYING DEFENDANT’S UNOPPOSED MOTION TO MODIFY
CONDITIONS OF RELEASE [DE 48]

THIS CAUSE is before the Court upon Defendant Gregory Scott Keough’s (“Defendant”)
Unopposed Motion to Modify Conditions of Release (“Motion”) [DE 48].
Previously, after a lengthy series of detention hearings, the Court denied the United States’
Motion for Pretrial Detention and entered an Order Setting Conditions of Release to Defendant’s
brother in-law’s home, including home detention and GPS monitoring. [DEs 26, 28, 29]. On September
6, 2023, Defendant posted bond and was released. Defendant entered a guilty plea to Counts 4, 5 and 8
of the Indictment on November 13, 2023 [DE 43], and sentencing is scheduled for February 8, 2024
[DE 44].
On November 21, 2023, this Court granted Defendant’s Unopposed Motion to Modify
Conditions of Release, and the Home Detention component of Defendant’s release conditions was
terminated. In lieu of Home Detention, a daily curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. was imposed. [DE
47]. In the Motion currently pending before the Court, Defendant seeks to modify the conditions of his
release to decrease the length of his daily curfew to the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
The Court has carefully considered the Motion and the entire docket in this case. In light of the
serious nature of the charges against Defendant, the fact that Defendant has pled guilty and is no longer
presumed innocent, and the lack of good cause supporting the Motion, it is hereby ORDERED AND
