UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT MIDDLE DISTRICT OF FLORIDA ORLANDO DIVISION UNITED STATES OF AMERICA VS. CASE NO: 6:21-cr-141-RBD-UAM EMMET BOWENS ORDER This cause came on for hearing on the following motion filed herein: MOTION: MOTION to Withdraw as Attorney of Record (Doc. 121 and 122); AMENDED MOTION to Withdraw as Attorney of Record (Doc. 123) FILED: March 13, 2025, and March 15, 2025. THEREON it is ORDERED as follows: Although the Court had hoped to resolve the issues of counsel for the Defendant without delay, it appears infeasible to conduct an appropriate hearing without potential disruption of Defendant’s travel pursuant to the Court’s December 26, 2024, Order [Doc. 116]. Because no substantive proceedings are contemplated pending a report from the medical team at the Bureau of Prisons, the pending motions to withdraw as counsel [Docs. 121,122, 123] are DENIED without prejudice. The hearing is CANCELLED, and the motion to appear telephonically [Doc. 128] is DENIED as moot. DONE and ORDERED in Orlando, Florida on March 27, 2025.
