This letter is to serve as my testimony to the character of Christopher S. Grant. Chris is an invaluable part
of my management team here at the dealership. He operates with a level of trustworthiness and
professionalism that makes him a go to for me in times of need. | can trust that Chris will handle any
given situation with honor and integrity, and take care of my customers in a way that will help promote

long term growth for my business.

| have watched his leadership abilities inspire my sales team to consistently achieve and surpass their
goals. He constantly pushes our team to grow and learn in this business, all while maintaining a level of
integrity and a moral standard that is admirable. Additionally, Mr. Grant takes great pride in his work and
always goes above and beyond what is asked of him.

| am aware of the legal issues that Chris is currently facing, and am hopeful that he is able to still work
here. | want to assure the court that Mr. Grant has a place of employment here with me here at the
dealership, and | would like to respectfully ask the court to consider an alternative sentence, such as
probation. The qualities and skills that Chris brings to the table make him a valuable employee that |

hope to retain for years to come.

Lam writing this letter to provide a character reference for my brother, Christopher Grant, who is
appearing before your court. I feel compelled to provide my perspective of his wonderful heart
and commitment not only to his family but his friends, colleagues and community.

Throughout my 38 years of life, Christopher has been a role model and someone I’ve always
looked up to. He possesses a heart of gold and has been a tremendous source of support for me
over the years. As a single mother of two, one of whom has significant special needs after being
born prematurely at 26 weeks, I have often relied on Christopher for guidance, assistance, and
emotional support.

During one of the most challenging periods of my life, Christopher went above and beyond to offer
help. Without hesitation, he took it upon himself to contact a local t-shirt shop and organize a
fundraiser by selling shirts to support me financially while I was unable to work. He paid for the
shirts out of his own pocket, demonstrating his generosity and selflessness. Additionally, he was
by my side at the hospital as much as possible, ensuring I was not alone while I cared for my son.

Christopher’s support didn’t end there, and he remains a constant source of help today. Given my
son’s extensive medical history, frequent appointments, and his struggles with epilepsy,
Christopher is always quick to assist when something happens. Whether my son is in the hospital
for several hours in the emergency room or admitted to the pediatric unit for days, Christopher
steps in without hesitation to take care of my 4-year-old daughter and our dog, Augie. He never
pauses or hesitates — he just jumps into action.

Beyond family, Christopher is an incredible friend. Right before the COVID pandemic, one of his
friends found himself homeless and jobless. Christopher opened not only his arms but his home to
his friend for over two years, helping him get back on his feet, find a job, and providing him with
compassion and guidance. Christopher was the compass that helped steer this young man toward
stability and success.

As a young teenager, Christopher accompanied me on a mission trip to El Salvador after a
devastating earthquake struck the country. Together with our team of 15 members, we provided
community support and spread the love of Christ to families in remote areas. I remember being in
awe of Christopher during that trip, watching him offer love and compassion to the people we met.
That same drive to help others continues to this day.

In our local community, I’ve seen Christopher use his role at work to make a difference. He has
helped fund the Winfield Middle School dance when they lacked the necessary resources, secured
donations for the Mountain State Autistic baseball team, and supported the Saint Albans Athletic
Boosters. Christopher has also donated clothing to a halfway house in Saint Albans, among many
other generous acts.

Christopher’s unwavering support, kindness, and dedication speak volumes about his exceptional
character. His actions have profoundly impacted me and my family, and I am forever grateful for
his presence in my life. I hope that my testimony provides insight into the caring and
compassionate individual that he truly is.

known for over 23 years. Throughout our long friendship, | have had the opportunity to witness

From the very beginning of our friendship, Chris has consistently shown kindness, compassion,
and a strong sense of responsibility. Whether it was through supporting friends in times of need,
helping lend a hand when asked, or just being there to offer support, he has always been
someone who steps up to help others. Chris has a natural ability to bring people together and
create a positive atmosphere, making him someone people trust and admire.

One of the qualities | most appreciate about Chris is his unwavering trustworthiness. He
possesses a moral compass that guides his actions and decisions. | have seen him navigate
challenging situations with grace and fairness, always prioritizing the well-being of others. Chris
has an exceptional ability to listen and offer thoughtful advice, making him a confidant for many.

In addition to his admirable character traits, Chris is also incredibly hardworking and dedicated.
He approaches every task with determination and enthusiasm, whether in his personal or
professional life. His commitment to excellence is truly inspiring and reflects his strong work
ethic.

| wholeheartedly believe that Chris is a person of great integrity and moral fiber. He has
enriched my life and the lives of many others through his kindness and positive influence. | have
no doubt that given the opportunity he will continue to make a significant and positive impact on
everyone he encounters.

over 20 years as a close personal friend and can confidently attest to their good character.

In my personal experience, Mr. Grant is a responsible, respectful and thoughtful individual. Mr.

sense of integrity and standards in which he holds himself to. Mr. Grant is a hard worker,

Throughout our time working together, I have consistently seen Chris demonstrate a high level of
