v.

Criminal Action No.
1:22-CR-171-MLB

Unopposed Motion to Continue Sentencing
The United States of America, by Theodore S. Hertzberg, United States
Attorney, and Kelly K. Connors and Nicholas L. Evert, Assistant United States
Attorneys for the Northern District of Georgia, files this Unopposed Motion to
Continue Sentencing.
1.

On July 25, 2025, Defendant Torjagbo was convicted of bank fraud, wire
fraud, and money laundering, following a five-day trial. Defendant Torjagbo’s
sentencing hearing is currently set for November 3, 2025.
2.

Due to certain conflicts, the government respectfully requests a continuance
of the sentencing hearing. AUSA Connors begins a lengthy trial before the
Honorable Amy Totenberg on October 14, 2025, which is expected to last several
weeks and may extend until the first week of December. AUSA Evert also has a
conflict throughout the month of November.
