Violation of condition number (7)(m): The defendant must not use or 
unlawfully possess a narcotic drug or other controlled substances 
defined in 21 U.S.C. § 802, unless prescribed by a licensed medical 
practitioner: 
 
On March 7, 2024, Ms. Omar admitted to the probation officer that she used 
marijuana prior to the initial appearance and release on bond. Ms. Omar 
signed a voluntary admission form acknowledging use of the illicit 
substance on prior to March 7, 2024. 
 
 
 
U.S. Probation Officer Action:   
 
On March 7, 2024, during a meeting with the probation officer, Ms. Omar admitted to using 
marijuana prior to release on bond. Ms. Omar signed a voluntary admission form acknowledging 
the use of the illicit substance. The defendant is currently being supervised in the District of South 
Carolina. Ms. Omar was informed the Court would be notified of illicit substance abuse. This 
officer will continue to monitor the defendant’s progress with the conditions of pretrial bond. Any 
future violations will be reported to the court.
