Jenny Surane Finance Reporter, Bloomberg News Jenny Surane is a finance reporter for Bloomberg News in New York. She works on stories about some of the world’s largest banks and payment companies and has broken news on many of the country’s largest credit-card issuers. She periodically appears on Bloomberg television and radio and her stories are regularly published on Bloomberg’s website and in its magazines. Surane joined Bloomberg in 2015 after earning a bachelor’s degree in business journalism from the University of North Carolina, where she worked on the campus publication, The Daily Tar Heel, rising to editor in chief. She spent two summers interning at Bloomberg during college.
