This is Exhibit 27 to the Burke declaration (Doc. 130) — five ECF pages of CONFIDENTIAL-stamped screenshots of Ethan Bearman's Signal Desktop (Bates BFM000202806, -2813, -2859) showing the "Blue Flame" Signal group chat among the principals (Thomas, Gula, Brown, Bearman) across March 24-26, 2020. The visible sidebar also lists related groups — "Blue Flame - NEW" and "Blue Flame," each showing "Timer set to 30m" (Signal's disappearing-messages setting), plus "Private BF" and "Jenni/John/Ethan."

Factual Summary

On March 24, in the minutes after California's purchase order landed, Bearman (the account owner; right-aligned messages) writes at 4:52 p.m.: "We don't have a bank account for sending him wiring instructions" and "We'll HAVE to give him Blue Flame Strategies LLC and deal with the fallout later (we need a CFO)," followed by "AWESOME!!!," "We need to send out supplier agreements to all suppliers" (4:55 p.m.), and "BTW, Wong/California issues US a PO" (4:59 p.m.). Gula reacts "Holy shit" and "Amazing"; Thomas convenes a call ("Can you guys join the 818 call in line asap?"; Brown supplies the number). A March 25 message discusses payment terms: "Ten days tender of shipme[nt] (put on board plane or boat)." In the 6 a.m. hour of March 25-26 (the screenshot's timestamps are ambiguous between the two days), Bearman reports: "Just forwarded email from Suuchi," "We have factory info for pickup of the masks," "She's working on India, but they are in full lockdown, says we have to arrange pickup of product," "Will work on Henry PO now," and "I have messages from everyone this morning. The supply chain is complete[ly] constrained with competitors bidding up prices today. We must lock in supply." Then: "I'm very concerned from Henry's PO that he doesn't have access to the masks we need." Gula answers: "Tell me the question I need to ask him," then "He said he does."

Key Facts

Title: Exhibit 27 to the Declaration of Donald Burke — Signal group-chat screenshots, March 24-26, 2020, Bates BFM000202806-2859; filed May 6, 2021 (Docket Entry 130-27).
At PO time Blue Flame had no bank account for receiving the wire; the plan was to "give him Blue Flame Strategies LLC and deal with the fallout later."
Two Blue Flame Signal groups visible in the sidebar ran 30-minute disappearing-message timers.
Bearman's stated concern, within roughly a day of the wire: "I'm very concerned from Henry's PO that he doesn't have access to the masks we need" — resolved in-chat only by Gula's relayed "He said he does."
India-lockdown pickup obstacles and "complete[ly] constrained" supply acknowledged internally while delivery assurances were going to the state.

Source Caveats

The dark-mode screenshots contain visual degradation. One quotation uses the bracketed repair "complete[ly]" where the displayed text reads "compete."
The 6 a.m. message cluster's date is ambiguous between March 25 and 26 in the render; both fall before or on the wire morning.
Several sidebar conversations and truncated bubbles are illegible; this summary covers only the legible thread.
