Zeke Faux is an investigative reporter for Bloomberg Businessweek and the author of Number Go Up (New America profile and his own site). He co-reported the April 1, 2020 Kabbage credit-line story with Jenny Surane.

Faux and Surane reported that Kabbage cut off small-business credit lines as cash needs mounted in early 2020. The story describes Kabbage's position in early 2020, before it moved into PPP processing; the later American Express transaction and KServicing wind-down are covered in the Kabbage profile. An NBER working paper cites the article (we have a copy).

Faux co-reported the April 2020 Kabbage credit-line story with Jenny Surane. Kabbage moved into PPP processing immediately after; its co-founders are profiled under Robert Frohwein and Kathryn Petralia. The later data reporting on Kabbage came from Lydia DePillis and Derek Willis at ProPublica.
