The profile
Co-founder of Paynerd and Chief Marketing Officer of Blueacorn. Per Blueacorn's cash-flow statement as published by the House Select Subcommittee, Paynerd received roughly $666 million of Blueacorn's PPP fees. Party to Delaware civil litigation with the Blueacorn entities. He has not been charged with any crime.
Identity and role
Taylor Hendricksen is a co-founder and operator of Pay Nerd LLC ("PayNerd") and its affiliate Paynerdier LLC, the marketing and lead-generation business owned with Matthew Mandell. He held dual roles as Blueacorn's Chief Marketing Officer and co-owner of Paynerd, the outside firm Blueacorn paid per funded loan.
Biography
Court filings and corporate records establish the Paynerd co-founder role.
The documented PPP-period work is marketing and lead generation for Blueacorn's PPP product, with Paynerd compensated for leads that became funded loans.
The company and its PPP role
Blueacorn was a PPP agent, not a lender. It collected roughly $1.08 billion in agent fees on the loans it pushed through its two CDFI lenders of record, Prestamos and Capital Plus. Of that, Paynerd received about $666 million, per Blueacorn's own Simplified Cash-Flow Statement (Bates BA-SSCC-0000121-22) as produced to the House Select Subcommittee and published in its December 1, 2022 report. That is about 62% of Blueacorn's fees. Spread across the 739,282 applications Blueacorn told the Subcommittee it had approved and sent to lenders for funding in 2021, it comes to roughly $901 per approved-and-forwarded application.
Hendricksen's individual share of that money is not broken out in any public record. The report attributes no specific quoted act to Hendricksen.
Their own relief
No PPP or EIDL loan to Hendricksen personally has surfaced in public SBA disclosure data.
Legal status / controversies
Not criminally charged. As of mid-2026 no federal or state indictment names Taylor Hendricksen. Hendricksen is, however, a party on both sides of the Delaware civil litigation between the Paynerd entities and the Blueacorn entities:
- Fin Cap Inc. & Blueacorn PPP, LLC v. PayNerd LLC (Del. Super. CCLD, C.A. N21C-12-118 MMJ CCLD; 2023 WL 5543736). Blueacorn's parent named Paynerd, Paynerdier, Mandell, and Hendricksen as defendants in December 2021, alleging fraudulent inducement, negligent misrepresentation, fraud, unjust enrichment, promissory estoppel, and an Arizona Consumer Fraud Act violation. In an August 16, 2023 opinion the court denied the motion to dismiss brought by third-party defendant Nate Reis and let Paynerd's counterclaims proceed, including fraud in the inducement against Fin Cap, Blueacorn, and Barry Calhoun.
- Blueacorn PPP, LLC v. Pay Nerd LLC (Del. Ch. C.A. 2023-0414-MMJ; opinion decided Jan 29, 2024, unsealed Feb 8, 2024). The court denied the Paynerd defendants' motion to dismiss and, on the other side of the docket, found that Paynerd had adequately pleaded fraudulent-inducement counterclaims against Blueacorn and against Nate Reis personally, alleging Blueacorn misrepresented its "then-existing operational capacities" on facts it knew at the time.
These are allegations to be tried, not findings.
Where they are now (2025–2026)
Hendricksen remains a principal of the Paynerd entities, which stayed in active Delaware litigation with the Blueacorn parties into 2025.
