The profile

Founder and co-CEO of Credibly, a Michigan non-bank small-business finance company; signatory of the March 24, 2020 fintech letter. Credibly described itself as an approved PPP lender; it does not appear as a lender of record in SBA loan-level data.

Identity and role

Ryan Rosett is founder and co-CEO of Credibly, a Michigan non-bank small-business finance company that offers merchant cash advances, working-capital loans, and lines of credit. He runs the company alongside co-founder Edan King (company release). Rosett signed the March 24, 2020 letter to Congress as Credibly's "Founder & Co-CEO."

Biography

Rosett's education and earlier career are cited to a 2024 interview (Sramana Mitra); we do not have a copy. He co-founded the company in 2010 (company releases); its 2014 Flexpoint Ford investment is cited to a Business Wire release we do not have.

The March 24, 2020 letter and pandemic relief

Rosett signed the March 24, 2020 coalition letter, which pressed Treasury to push "upwards of $500 billion" to small businesses through non-bank lenders and said the signers sought "no gain from this crisis."

In April 2020 Credibly announced (Business Wire) that it had been designated an "approved" PPP lender; its chief information officer's AWS blog post described routing more than 50,000 second-round applications to a network of partner PPP lenders. Neither "Credibly" nor "Retail Capital" appears as an originating or servicing lender in the SBA's loan-level PPP data. That is consistent with a technology-platform and agent role in which the loans were booked on partner banks. No government enforcement action against Credibly has been found, and it does not appear in the December 2022 House fintech-PPP report.

Where they are now (2025–2026)

A 2023 management buyout of Flexpoint Ford's interest is cited to a 2024 interview (Sramana Mitra); we do not have a copy. He remains co-CEO of Credibly, which is privately held (company materials).
