The profile
Co-founder and President of Biz2Credit.
Identity & role
Ramit Arora is co-founder and President of Biz2Credit (and its Biz2X bank-software arm), which he founded in 2007 with his brother Rohit Arora (CEO). He heads the company's credit and sales operations (American Banker author bio); Wikipedia (secondary) records the company's India operation.
Career arc
Co-founded Biz2Credit in 2007 as an online small-business lending and credit marketplace; built out the credit, underwriting, and sales functions.
Pandemic relief role
Biz2Credit, through its lending affiliate Itria Ventures LLC, was a PPP lender of record (see the Biz2Credit profile); the SBA lender-report ranking previously cited here is not in any copy we have. The company and Itria settled an FTC action in March 2024 (No. 1:24-cv-02001, S.D.N.Y.) for $33 million over alleged deceptive claims about PPP processing times and the handling of withdrawal requests, neither admitting nor denying the allegations; the FTC announced it together with its $26 million settlement with Womply that day.
Legal status / government-program record
The FTC action named Biz2Credit, Inc. and Itria Ventures LLC (the entities), not Ramit Arora personally. We found no personal charge.
A 2020 Senate LDA filing by Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP for Biz2Credit listed work on CARES Act provisions, SBA lender applications, and PPP. A 2023 filing listed SBA COVID relief, small-business lending, fintech, and regulatory matters, and named Clarine Nardi Riddle among the registered lobbyists. A 2025 filing confirms Kasowitz continued representing Biz2Credit, though it does not repeat the 2023 filing's issue description.
Where they are now (2025–2026)
Ramit Arora remains President and co-founder of Biz2Credit (American Banker author bio; personal site capture); the company management page is cited, but we do not have a copy.
