Pandemic-relief / PPP-EIDL role
Kasowitz's 2020 LDA filing for Biz2Credit listed work to "assist with key CARES Act provisions, SBA lender application, and Paycheck Protection Program." Biz2Credit/Itria went on to become a large PPP lender in the 2021 round and later settled an FTC case over its PPP processing claims (see the Biz2Credit profile; we have a copy of the FTC case page).
A 2023 LDA filing for Biz2Credit listed "SBA COVID relief and other programs regarding fintechs and small businesses." A 2025 filing records a later Kasowitz/Biz2Credit engagement; the 2026 LegiList line shows "No Activity." The 2025–2026 record does not show active SBA COVID lobbying beyond what the 2020 and 2023 filings state.
Their own relief
No separate personal or company-side PPP/EIDL loan, SVOG grant, Provider Relief Fund payment, or other own-relief receipt is identified for Clarine Nardi Riddle.
Legal status / controversies
No personal enforcement action, civil settlement, debarment, or criminal charge involving Riddle was identified. The FTC's Biz2Credit/Itria settlement was against the companies, not Riddle personally.
