Identity and role
Mary Jackson was CEO of the Online Lenders Alliance, a fintech/nonbank-lending trade association. LegiStorm's organization summary lists her as chief executive from June 2018 to April 2021.
Pandemic relief role
In 2020, as OLA's named CEO, she issued the group's public statements on the FDIC's bank-fintech "valid-when-made" rule, the OCC's "true lender" rule, and the OCC "fair access" proposal. We found no PPP-specific LDA filing, testimony or other PPP advocacy under her name.
Legal status / government-program record
We found no personal enforcement action, relief loan, or company-side PPP conduct.
Where they are now
Jackson retired in 2021 after a roughly 32-year consumer- and online-lending career. OLA announced new leadership the same year.
OLA's peer trade groups included Scott G. Stewart's Innovative Lending Platform Association and Rob Nichols's ABA.
