Identity and role
Andy Slavitt served as a senior adviser to President Biden's COVID response effort in 2021. He previously served as acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and was involved in Affordable Care Act implementation.
Pandemic-relief / PPP-EIDL role
He served as a senior White House COVID adviser during the 2021 vaccine rollout. The role did not touch PPP loan origination, SBA lender admission, EIDL processing, or fintech enforcement.
Legal status / controversies
No personal enforcement action, relief loan, or company-side PPP conduct was found.
Where they are now (2025–2026)
Slavitt departed the White House in June 2021. NeueHealth's April 2025 proxy statement lists him as founder and general partner of Town Hall Ventures, a health-care investment firm, since 2018, and as a NeueHealth director since August 2021. He left that board when NeueHealth's merger closed on October 2, 2025.
