Pandemic-relief / PPP-EIDL role
He represented OTO Analytics/Womply in disputes arising from PPP lender-service-provider agreements and unpaid lender/service fees. Willkie's June 2024 release names Cheney on the team that won the corrected JAMS final award for Womply (the award summary we have does not list counsel). He also appeared (pro hac vice, for Willkie) on the related federal docket in Oto Analytics, LLC v. Benworth Capital Partners PR LLC, Civil No. 3:23-cv-01034-GMM (D.P.R.) — Womply's fraudulent-transfer suit against Benworth, into which the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco later intervened as a creditor.

The Federal Reserve Bank's separate creditor action against Benworth was handled by Lisa M. Schweitzer of Cleary Gottlieb.
