BY THE COURT:
On June 2, 2022, the Court granted the parties’ joint motion to stay briefing pending receipt
of the appellant’s death certificate from the Bureau of Prisons. On July 13, 2022, the appellant’s
counsel submitted a copy of the appellant’s death certificate.
As the appellant is deceased, the appellant’s appeal is DISMISSED and this case is
REMANDED to the district court with instructions to vacate the judgment and dismiss the
indictment against the appellant. See United States v. Koblan, 478 F.3d 1324, 1325 (11th Cir.
2007).
