GOVERNMENT’S SENTENCING 
MEMORANDUM 
 
  
 
For the reasons set forth in the PSR, the government agrees with the Probation Office’s 
recommendation that the defendant, Gurjeet Bath, be sentenced to 21 months in prison and one year of 
supervised release.  The government believes that this sentence is appropriate under the sentencing 
factors set forth at 18 U.S.C. § 3553(a), especially given Mr. Bath’s prior criminal history.   
The government notes that restitution has been satisfied. Therefore, it is no longer pursuing 
forfeiture against Mr. Bath.
