ADMINISTRATIVE MOTION FOR 
EARLY CASE MANAGEMENT 
CONFERENCE AND INSTRUCTIONS 
TO COUNSEL

The Court has received and considered Defendants’ administrative motion for an early case 
management conference, which Plaintiff does not oppose.  The Court ADVANCES the case 
management conference set for March 26, 2021 to December 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  The case 
management conference will be held by AT&T teleconference (dial in 1-888-684-8852, access 
code 8583698#).   
The parties shall meet and confer as that term is defined in the Northern District Civil 
Local Rules and shall submit a joint case management conference statement by December 11, 
2021.  If the parties are unable to agree on issues, they shall set forth their respective positions in 
that joint statement and shall provide the Court with an explanation for any differences.  The 
parties also shall include a statement regarding whether they are amenable to an alternative dispute 
resolution procedure and, if so, deadlines to complete that process.   
Prior to meeting and conferring, the parties shall review the Court’s Scheduling Notes 
which sets forth dates on which it is unavailable in 2021.  The parties also shall review this 
Court’s Guidelines for civil bench trials and pretrial conferences, which set forth the Court’s 
normal deadlines regarding pretrial filings, including the exchange of motions in limine.  If any 
party believes any of these deadlines should be modified for this case, they shall explain why in

the joint case management conference statement.  Finally, given the disparity in the parties’ 
proposed trial dates, each party shall address the impact – if any – of Section IV.B of the Timing 
Agreement dated May 15, 2020, on the trial date proposed.  (See Declaration of Meagan K. 
Bellshaw, ¶ C, Ex. A.)
