I request an emergency compassionate release due to the Incapacitation of my family members caregivers, I have provided all
documentation for my children's caregivers showing they are not able to continue care for them.
My aunt, Maxine Buck, cannot care for my children de to her health conditions. Her doctor has provided written notice that
caring for children is detrimental to her health.
I have already provided the information for my father and brother. Contacting them will put the safety of my children at an even
greater risk. I have never known my mother.
My oldest daughter has her court hearing on December 8 and will likely be taken into state custody. All legal documentation for
that has also been provided. I have exhausted all options for caregivers for my minor children. There is absolutely no one else
to care for my children except me.
I have done my remedies with the Warden and the social worker at Camp Alderson. The warden along with my unit team all
agree that a compassionate release is necessary for my situation due to the safety of my children. Federal probation has
already approved my supervised release plan. The social worker continues to encourage me to petition the court due to the
lengthy process it takes for the BOP to review cases. The remedy process is being followed but time is of the essence.
My release plan Included returning home to ensure the safety and well being of my children. I will return to work. I had a
working relationship with federal probation prior to my surrender and it will be the same after my release.
With the First Step Act, Second Chance Act, programming and good days, I would only be required to serve 18 months of my
sentence. The 2-level point reduction and projected release dates would take an additional 10 months off of my sentence. I
have already served 7 full months going into 8 months of my required time. Please take this into consideration for my
compassionate release along with the safety of my 13 and 10 year old daughters.
