This office represents Damaris Valerio, a defendant in the above referenced matter.  
On April 14, 2026 the Court sentenced Ms. Valerio to 20 months of incarceration, to be 
followed by 3 years of supervised release.  Ms. Valerio was directed to report to Danbury 
FSL on May 26, 2026.  For the following reasons, we write to request an extension of 
time until August 1, 2026 for Ms. Valerio to report for her sentence at FSL Danbury.    
 
Prior to her sentencing and continuing, Ms. Valerio is attempting to move from her 
home at 842 Perrineville Road, Millstone, NJ with her children to a new home which will 
be affordable for the children while she is incarcerated.  She is also diligently trying to 
arrange for care and financial support for her minor children while she is away. 
Furthermore, Ms. Valerio requires some important dental work to be done on some 
cracked and nerve damaged teeth which are quite painful.       
 
AUSA Ben Bleiberg has deferred decision on this request to the Court. The Court’s
