ORDER 
 
The above-styled case came before the Honorable Brent Brennenstuhl, United 
States Magistrate Judge, from Bowling Green, and was called in open Court on 
January 13, 2025, for a preliminary revocation hearing and detention hearing.  The 
Defendant, Ellen Bauer, was present, in custody, and represented by Assistant Federal 
Defender Patrick J. Bouldin on behalf of Donald J. Meier.  Assistant United States 
Attorney Mark J. Yurchisin, II, was present for the United States of America.  These 
proceedings were digitally recorded.   
As to the matter of preliminary hearing, the Defendant waived her right to a 
preliminary hearing and executed a waiver to that effect.   
IT IS ORDERED a final revocation hearing shall be conducted before Chief 
Judge Greg N. Stivers, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 am, CST.  The 
hearing shall be conducted at the United States Courthouse, Bowling Green, Kentucky. 
As to the matter of detention, the United States advised the United States 
continues to seek detention in this matter.  Counsel for the Defendant argued there are 
conditions that can be placed upon the Defendant to assure her appearance and the safety 
of the community.  Counsel for the United States argued the Defendant was given 
multiple chances to abide by the conditions of supervised release and failed to do so.

Counsel for the United States argued the Defendant should be detained pending her 
appearance before Judge Stivers at the final revocation hearing. 
 
The Court having reviewed the Petition on Supervised Release, having conferred 
with the Probation Officer, having heard arguments of counsel and being otherwise 
sufficiently advised, 
IT IS ORDERED the Defendant is remanded to the custody of the United States 
Marshal Service pending her final revocation hearing.
