ORDER 
The above-styled case came before the Honorable Brent Brennenstuhl, United 
States Magistrate Judge, from Bowling Green and was called in open court, on 
January 7, 2025, for an initial appearance on a Petition on Supervised Release.  The 
Defendant, Mandy Ellen Bauer, was present in custody.  Assistant United States 
Attorney Mark J. Yurchisin was present for the United States of America.  These 
proceedings were digitally recorded.    
The Defendant was provided a copy of the Petition and was advised of her 
rights pursuant to Rule 5, Rule 32.1 and 18 U.S.C.§3583 of the Federal Rules of 
Criminal Procedure and the Defendant acknowledged that she understood those rights.    
The Defendant was advised of her Constitutional Rights, including her right to 
Court-appointed counsel.  The Defendant requested Court appointed counsel as she is 
without sufficient resources with which to retain counsel.  Upon questioning the 
Defendant, under oath, the Court determined that the Defendant qualified for counsel 
pursuant to 18 U.S.C.§3006A.    
IT IS ORDERED the Office of the Federal Public Defender is appointed to 
represent the Defendant in this matter. Assistant Federal Defender Donald J. Meier 
was present in anticipation of the appointment.

As to the matter of preliminary hearing, the Defendant by counsel requested a 
preliminary hearing, the court will schedule a preliminary revocation hearing.   
IT IS ORDERED a Preliminary Revocation Hearing shall be conducted before 
Magistrate Judge Brennenstuhl on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., CST.  The 
hearing shall be conducted at the United States Courthouse, Bowling Green, Kentucky.   
As to the matter of detention, counsel for the United States advised the United 
States is seeking detention in this matter. 
IT IS ORDERED a detention hearing shall be conducted before Magistrate 
Judge Brennenstuhl on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., CST.  The hearing 
shall be conducted at the United States Courthouse, Bowling Green, Kentucky. 
IT IS ORDERED a final revocation hearing shall be conducted before  
Chief Judge Gregory N. Stivers, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:15 am, CST.  
The hearing shall be conducted at the United States Courthouse, Bowling Green, 
Kentucky. 
IT IS ORDERED the Defendant is remanded to the custody of the United 
States Marshal Service pending the Detention hearing.
