ASSENTED-TO MOTION TO TEMPORARILY
AMEND CONDITIONS OF RELEASE
Now comes Ms. Spike with the assent of the government and moves this Honorable
Court to temporarily amend her conditions of release to allow her to travel from Florida to
Indiana for five days in July to visit her mother, conditioned upon prior approval by the
probation department of her travel itinerary and the address where she will stay.
Ms. Spike was arrested in this case in her home state of Florida on February 9, 2026. She
was released on conditions that same day. D.E. 17 at 16, 19-10. One condition of her release is
that she not travel outside the Southern District of Florida without prior court approval. D.E. 17
at 19, #2.
Ms. Spike seeks to visit her mother for five days while also picking up her young
daughter, who is staying with Ms. Spike’s mother for approximately one month during the
summer. Ms. Spike will provide the dates of travel, flight information, and address to the
probation department ahead of time to allow for confirmation.
Counsel is not aware of any alleged violations of conditions by Ms. Spike since her
release on February 9, 2026.
For all the above reasons, Ms. Spike requests that the motion be ALLOWED.
