The Clerk will file publicly the motion to seal at Docket Entry No. 22-1 and will file under seal the declaration at Docket Entry No. 22-2. Ayvazyan’s motion to proceed in forma pauperis and for appointment of counsel (Docket Entry Nos. 21 & 22-2 in Appeal No. 21-50302) is granted. The Clerk will amend the docket in Appeal No. 21-50302 to reflect Ayvazyan’s in forma pauperis status. New counsel will be appointed by separate order. The Clerk will electronically serve this order on the appointing authority for the Central District of California, who will locate appointed counsel for Appeal No. 21-50302. The appointing authority is requested to send notification of the name, address, and telephone number of appointed counsel to the Clerk of this court at counselappointments@ca9.uscourts.gov within 14 days of locating counsel. The appointing authority is also requested to appoint an attorney who will give immediate attention to Ayvazyan’s appeal. The opening briefs and excerpts of record are due June 16, 2022; the consolidated answering brief is due July 18, 2022; and the optional reply briefs are due within 21 days after service of the answering brief. The Clerk will also serve a Form CJA 24 on the appointing authority, who is requested to provide it to newly appointed counsel in Appeal No. 21-50302 should Case 2:20-cr-00579-SVW Document 1294 Filed 03/21/22 Page 2 of 4 Page ID #:19944 3 21-50237 & 21-50302 new counsel wish to designate further transcripts.
