Court calls case. AUSA Trenton Reichling present on behalf of the United States.  
AFPD Jim Lappan present on behalf of defendant Amber Brue who is also 
present, Attorney James Landon Miller on behalf of defendant Anthony Bruey. 
 
The Court inquires if that parties want to add new information.  Mr. Miller informs 
the Court that Mr. Bruey has returned cash and properties to the government as 
reflected on the record.  
 
The Court recaps 6/24/2022 hearing and advises of charges. Court previously 
accepted the defendant Anthony James Bruey plea and adjudged him guilty of 
Counts One, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen. 
 
For the reasons stated in the record, the Court imposes the sentence as to 
defendant Anthony James Bruey:   
 
Imprisonment: 51 months imprisonment to run concurrent as to each count.  
The defendant is to self-surrender to a designated BOP facility in North Carolina 
on or before Monday August 15, 2022. 
 
Supervised Release: 3-year term with mandatory and standard conditions.

The Defendant shall participate in a mental health treatment program.

opening additional lines of credit, or obligating yourself for any major purchases

The Defendant shall provide the probation officer access to any requested 
financial information and no new lines of credit. 
 
• 
The defendant shall cooperate in the collection of DNA. 
 
• 
The Defendant shall not use controlled substances and submit to drug 
testing not to exceed 104 tests per year. 
 
Restitution: The defendant shall pay restitution in the amount of $881,659.35.  
This restitution obligation shall be payable to the Clerk, U.S. District Court, for 
distribution to the victims reflected on the record.  Interest is waived.

Fines are waived. 
 
Special Assessment of $600.00 due immediately.  
 
Court finds sentence is sufficient, but not greater than necessary.  
 
Counsel has no objections to the sentence or to the manner in which it was 
imposed.
