Court calls cases.  AFPD James Lappan present on behalf of Ms. Amber Bruey.  
Attorney Landon Miller on behalf of Mr. Anthony Bruey.  AUSA Trenton Reichling 
on behalf of the United States, along him is Terry Hedrick, USSS. 
 
The Court recaps Mr. Bruey’s previous sentencing hearing and as to the reasons 
why it was continued to June 24, 2022.   
 
Court advises of charges. Court previously accepted the defendant Anthony 
James Bruey plea and adjudged him guilty of Counts One, Twelve. Thirteen, 
Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen. 
 
Court advises of charges. Court previously accepted the defendant Amber Rewis 
Bruey plea and adjudged him guilty of Counts Two through Eleven, Fifteen 
through Eighteen.  
 
Mr. Lappan makes objections and arguments as to sophisticated enhancement 
and request to remove 2 level enhancement in paragraph 52.  Mr. Reichling 
responds to Mr. Lappan’s argument.  Objection is overruled by the Court. 
 
Mr. Miller presents objections as to mitigation behalf of Mr. Bruey. Mr. Reichling 
responds to objections re minimal role enhancement.  Objection is overruled by 
the Court. 
 
The Court adopts the facts contained in the PSR and reviews the total offense 
level, potential penalties, and sentence with the defendants.

AUSA Reichling makes recommendation as reflected on the record.  The 
government moves to admit Government Exhibit 1- 7.  No objections.  Exhibits 
admitted.

Mr. Lappan makes arguments to Mr. Reichling’s recommendations and 
recommends a time served sentence.   
 
Ms. Amber Bruey makes brief allocution remarks. The Court addresses the 
defendant.   
 
Mr. Miller makes downward variance recommendation on behalf of Mr. Anthony 
Bruey.  Mr. Miller request time served sentence and if the court pronounces 
imprisonment Mr. Bruey wants to self-surrender to prison instead of Ms. Bruey. 
 
Mr. Anthony Bruey make allocution remarks and pleads the Court that he will 
take all prison responsibility so that Ms. Amber Bruey can take care of their 4 
children and 5th baby about to be born.  The Court addresses the fifth child. 
 
AUSA Trenton Reichling makes remarks and advises the Court that BOP can 
make child birth accommodations. Mr. Reichling summarizes recommendation at 
reemphasizes a guideline sentence.   
 
For the reasons stated in the record, the Court reserves sentence and will 
pronounce sentence on July 13, 2022 at 11:45 am:
