Hon. Craig T. Goldblatt is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Delaware in Wilmington, where he has served since his appointment in April 2021. Prior to his appointment, he was a bankruptcy liti¬gator in the Washington, D.C. office of WilmerHale, where his practice primarily involved the repre¬sentation of financial institutions and other commercial creditors in complex bankruptcy litigation and appeals. Earlier in his career, Judge Goldblatt clerked for Hon. Richard D. Cudahy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Hon. David H. Souter of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a Conferee in the National Bankruptcy Conference (for which he serves as Secretary) and is a vice president of the American College of Bankruptcy. He also has been active on the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section. Judge Goldblatt has served on the Education Committee of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges and as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and George Washington University Law School, where he teaches classes focused on bankruptcy law. He received his Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 1990 and his J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1993, where he served as comment editor of the University of Chicago Law Review.
