RESPONSE TO MOTION TO TERMINATE SUPERVISED RELEASE

The United States respectfully requests that defendant Robert S. Stewart, Jr. (“Stewart”)’s
Motion to Terminate Supervised Release (Dkt. 27) be denied as moot.
In December 2022, jurisdiction of Stewart’s probation was transferred to the Northern
District of Alabama.  Dkt. 24.  In July 2023, Stewart moved to terminate his term of supervised
release in the Eastern District of Virginia.  In December 2023, Stewart filed a motion in the
Northern District of Alabama to terminate his supervision.  United States v. Robert S. Stewart,
Jr., No. 2:22-cr-00482-AMM-NAD-1 (N.D. Ala. Dec. 1, 2023).  On December 5, 2023, United
States District Judge Anna M. Manasco issued an order terminating Stewart’s supervision.
Exhibit 1 (Order granting motion to terminate supervised release).
  The United States conferred with Probation Officer Michelle Suleiman, who advised
that Stewart committed no violations and fully complied with his conditions of release, and that
his supervision was terminated in December 2023.

In light of the foregoing, the United States respectfully submits that Stewart’s Motion to
Terminate Supervised Release should be denied as moot.
