ORDER
The above-named Defendant having moved for additional time in which to retain counsel of Defendant's
own choosing, for good cause shown, it is hereby
ORDERED that Defendant shall be granted until 11:30 a.m. on the 31st Day of July, 2020, to retained
counsel of Defendant's own choosing. Defendant shall promptly notify Magistrate Judge Alan J. Baverman and
the United States Attorney of the name of the counsel employed, and counsel shall, within three (3) days, file a
written appearance with the Clerk and furnish copies to the United States Attorney and to the Magistrate Judge.
If counsel has not been retained within the allotted time, Defendant shall appear before Magistrate Judge
Alan J. Baverman at the above date and time for a determination as to whether counsel should be appointed.
Failure of the Defendant to comply with this Order may result in the issuance of a warrant for the immediate arrest
of Defendant, if Defendant is under conditions of release, or other sanctions if Defendant is detained.
The Clerk is DIRECTED to exclude time in this case, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §3161 (h)(7)(A) and (B)(iv),
from this date until counsel has filed a notice of appearance for Defendant or until further order of the Court
because the Court finds that the ends of justice served by the period of this delay, for the reason stated, taking into
account the exercise of due diligence, outweigh the best interest of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial.
Let a copy of the Order be served upon Defendant, the United States Attorney, and the Pretrial Services
Officer.
