Bush: he joined SBA in 2005 as Regional Administrator for Region 2 (New York City), then served as SBA's Associate Administrator for Field Operations from 2007 to 2009. In the private sector he was a Managing Director at Brock Capital Group, a boutique New York investment bank advising small- and mid-sized companies; his background includes financial services and municipal finance, and he was an elected Trustee in Southampton, New York for two terms. In March 2017, Administrator Linda McMahon appointed him Associate Administrator for the Office of Capital Access, overseeing a ~$120B loan portfolio, nine operation centers, and 560 employees.

Role in the pandemic relief programs
