Pandemic-relief / PPP-EIDL role
Lead staff signatory on the Biz2Credit deceptive-marketing action, resolved with a $33 million judgment, the larger part of the combined $59 million the FTC announced with Womply that day (FTC release).
The FTC case page says Biz2Credit and Itria agreed to pay $33 million to resolve charges that they deceptively advertised PPP processing times when actual average processing took well over a month. The complaint also alleged that consumers were delayed or locked in after early SBA E-Tran capture.
Zullow was the government attorney applying Section 5 and the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act after the relief program had run; our copy of the complaint carries his signature, /s/ Evan R. Zullow. No source shows a post-case move into fintech, lobbying, or defense work.
