The profile

Co-founder, president and CEO of Harvest Small Business Finance, a non-bank SBA lender that originated 408,173 PPP loans worth about $8.19 billion (SBA loan-level data as compiled in lender_fees.csv), largely through Womply's Fast Lane, and was among eight lenders SBA said in December 2022 it was investigating. No enforcement action against him or Harvest is on the public record.

Identity and role

Adam Seery is the president and chief executive of Harvest Small Business Finance, LLC, a commercial-real-estate and SBA 7(a) lender based in Laguna Hills, California, which he co-founded in 2016. During the PPP he was the company's chief operating officer and chief origination officer. He was the executive quoted when Harvest signed on as a Womply Fast Lane lender in April 2021 (Business Wire release), and has since moved into the top job (LinkedIn, self-reported).

Biography / career arc

By the company's account he has worked in small-business and small-balance commercial lending — conventional product plus SBA 7(a) and 504 loans — for more than twenty years (Harvest bio capture). His LinkedIn page (self-reported) supplies the Harvest sequence: co-founder and chief origination officer from May 2016 to October 2022; chief operating officer from December 2018 to October 2022; president from September 2022 to October 2024; and chief executive officer since July 2024. It also lists earlier roles at Plaza Bank and Lehman Brothers Small Business Finance and education entries.

Harvest was founded in 2016 and holds a non-bank Small Business Lending Company license, which lets a non-bank originate SBA 7(a) loans. It is majority-owned by an affiliate of Medalist Partners, LP (securitization release). Its co-founders include Todd Massas, Evan Mitnick and David Scherer (company materials).

The company and its PPP/EIDL role

Per SBA loan-level data as compiled in the project's analysis files, Harvest originated 408,173 PPP loans worth about $8.19 billion and collected roughly $1.0 billion in lender processing fees, and drew a PPP Liquidity Facility peak of about $11.52 billion. Harvest held the SBA lender role and the guarantee-backed economics; Womply's "PPP Fast Lane Technology" supplied the borrower intake.

Their own relief

No PPP or EIDL loan to Adam Seery personally, or to Harvest Small Business Finance as a borrower, is established in the public record.

No PPP-fraud finding, criminal charge, civil fraud judgment, or completed government enforcement action against Adam Seery or Harvest Small Business Finance exists in the public record. Harvest was, however, named on the SBA's December 8, 2022 list of eight high-volume lenders against which it had "launched a full investigation" following the House Select Subcommittee report. The other seven were Cross River, Celtic, Customers, Fountainhead, Capital Plus, Benworth, and Prestamos. No public enforcement action against Harvest resulting from that review has been located.

Where they are now (2025–2026)

Seery is president and CEO of Harvest, which has continued as an active SBA 7(a) lender; it closed its sixth securitization of SBA 7(a) loan portions in October 2025, with about $87.8 million of rated notes (Business Wire release). On February 23, 2026, Harvest announced a merger with Crossroads Impact Corp., the holding company of fellow PPP lender Capital Plus. Both companies are to keep their existing brands, and the announcement quotes both Seery and Crossroads CEO Eric Donnelly. Seery's LinkedIn page still lists him as Harvest CEO, but his exact title in the post-merger entity is not established in the public record.
